Biography

Ms Sweta Malik is a PhD Student at Insight Centre for Data Analytics, National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG), advised by Dr Subhasis Thakur, Dr John Breslin, and Dr Maeve Duffy. She is doing PhD in “Peer to Peer Energy Trading Using Various Game Theory”. Her research interests are in smart grid, demand-side management, energy trading, distribution system, game theory and blockchain. 

An Electrical Engineer graduate from JECRC (Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre) University (India), Ms Sweta did her Masters’ from TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI SAS) in Renewable Engineering and Energy Management (REEM). She has earlier worked in Schneider electric on Home Energy Management System and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) on Smart Grid, Distributed Energy Resources, and Blockchain implementation in the electricity sector. She has also worked as a Research Associate in the Electricity and Fuels Division of TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute) for 1 year.
