- The School of Mathematics, Statistics and Applied Mathematics Summer Internship Programme has been running for the past six weeks, thanks to funding from the School and the College of Science & Engineering. Thanks again to all the supervisors and students. - PhD student Beatrice Charamba gave two talks at prestigious international conferences last week; these were meant to be delivered in Bilbao and Lyon but instead given online from the warmer climes of Galway!

Two CRT students in Dr Pilib Ó Broin's group have secured additional funding of >€20k for their projects through the Data Generation Fund.

Barry's project is on: 'Elucidating the regulatory role of non-coding RNAs in enzalutamide resistant prostate cancer'.

Pierre's project (co-supervised with Prof. Stephen Finn in TCD) is on 'circRNA expression as a biomarker in upper GI cancer.'
