Paddy Medley
VP of Quality HPE Hybrid Cloud and MD Hewlett Packard Galway
Paddy Medley is VP of Quality within Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s (HPE) Hybrid Cloud division. This function covers all of HPE’s cloud solutions, storage products, HPE’s research and innovation labs. In addition, Paddy is the Managing Director of Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Galway.
Paddy has been a passionate driver of software engineering in the West of Ireland, working closely with academia and all of the entities building the software cluster in the region. He sits on the board of ITAG and was chair of the entity for 10 years. He has held industry advisor position with the Atlantic Technological University and the LERO research institute.
He has over 30 years of industry experience spanning hardware and software systems engineering, covering engineering, project, program, product and innovation management.
Paddy holds a B.Eng in Electronic and System Engineering from the University of Limerick and an M.B.A. in Technology Management from Open University.
