Karl Flannery
CEO and co-founder of Storm Technology
Current CEO and co-founder of Storm Technology, Karl Flannery has led the business for more than 25 years, building it into one of Ireland’s most respected Microsoft business technology consultancies.
Karl has contributed to the wider technology sector within Ireland by chairing associations like the Irish Software Association, now known as Technology Ireland. He was also involved with various national initiatives including the IP Protocol Implementation Group, Knowledge Transfer Ireland, Tech/Life Ireland, Space Strategy for Enterprise WG. He also holds board positions at the ATU Innovation Hub, Irish Manufacturing Research Technology Centre, ITAG and IBEC REC West. Karl is committed to advancing the needs of the Irish Software and Digital Technology sector both here and internationally.
Karl has a B.Sc. in Applied Physics from University of Galway, Diploma in Intellectual Property in Information Technology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management and most recently a Postgraduate Certification in AI for Professionals from University of Galway.
