Family Fun Day
Join us on 2nd March 2024 for the 'Engineering Our Future: Family Fun Day' in Alice Perry Engineering Building at University of Galway, where we celebrate Engineering as part of the Engineers Week 2024! This Family Fun Day will provide plenty of science and engineering shows, workshops and hands-on activities that will inspire young (and older!!) people and help them learn about the world around us!
This is a free event. Most activities do not require pre-booking. For some shows and workshops, there are a limited number of tickets that can be booked in advance using the links given in the table below. All shows and workshops will have free tickets available on the day on a first-come-first-served basis.
Free parking for visitors will be available on 2nd March 2024 throughout the main campus (staff & student parking). Please park in designated places only. A campus map is available at https://www.universityofgalway.ie/buildings/maps/
Zinc cafe will be open during the day in the Alice Perry Engineering building for teas, coffees and light snacks. If you would like to bring a packed lunch, there are places available to sit inside in the Alice Perry Engineering building and outside.
*If accessing on your mobile phone, please turn the phone into landscape mode for better view of the table.
