Dr Anup Poudel

Dr. Anup Poudel conducts both fundamental and applied research in the fields of smart biomaterials, impedance-based biosensors, and the design and development of medical devices as alternatives to therapeutic purposes. He has multiple publications and patents and has secured more than €280K in the area of medical device design and development. The majority of his research and development work is in the field of medical device development in association with multiple industries (Neurent Medical, SCF Processing Ltd., Fastform Medical Devices, Merit medical etc).  

In addition to these achievements, he holds the position of Director for the European Medical Polymers Division of the Society of Plastics Engineers and has been a keynote speaker at multiple international conferences in the field of medical device design and development.
